Alfredo

29 records in the collection· mostly on Winner, Radio (Edison Bell), Electron

Alfredo was the professional name used by violinist and bandleader Alfredo Campoli during his early career, when he led popular dance orchestras in Britain before becoming much better known as a classical violinist. His dance-band recordings belong chiefly to the late 1920s and early 1930s and show a less familiar side of a musician who later built an international concert career.
