VocV

This Vocalion series is notable for British issues of American jazz from the 1920s, including recordings by Kid Ory, Johnny Dodds and Jimmie Noone. It is the sort of catalogue that made Vocalion important to British jazz listeners, bringing New Orleans and Chicago-style performances into the UK market on locally issued 78s.
