Adela Verne was a British pianist — one of four musical Verne sisters — who had a considerable concert career in the early twentieth century. Columbia L1213 — Chopin's Polonaise in A flat, across two sides — is a large-format 12-inch pressing from Columbia's premium L-series. Verne's Columbia recordings are a modest collector interest for enthusiasts of early British piano recording.
