Alice Moore recorded blues numbers 'Prison Blues' and 'My Man Blues' for Gennett (listed as Cent). Moore was one of many blues singers recorded in the 1920s, contributing to the race records tradition. Gennett pressings of early blues are sought by collectors of the genre, though British copies are considerably scarcer than American issues.
The summary above was written by AI from what is known of the artist and the pressing. It is not a description of this copy's condition, and we have not checked every detail — ask us and we will tell you what we can actually see.
Condition above is the family's own grading — ask and we will describe the disc properly before either side commits. Nothing in this collection has a fixed price; an enquiry starts a conversation.
