Richard Strauss conducting the Berlin State Opera Orchestra in his own tone poem 'Don Juan', on His Master's Voice catalogue 040872 — an early large-format disc. A composer conducting their own orchestral work is a primary document, and this HMV pressing of Strauss conducting Don Juan is historically significant for collectors of early orchestral 78s.
