Blanche Marchesi was a soprano of distinguished lineage — the daughter of the great vocal pedagogue Mathilde Marchesi — who had a significant operatic and concert career in Britain. This HMV disc with the unusual JH-series prefix (catalogue JH10) contains 'Queen Anne Boleyn in Prison' and 'L'Été'. The JH series is not a standard commercial HMV designation and warrants investigation.
