Florence Bruce

AMy God & Father
BBe thou nigh

Label: BelCTEST
Genre: Voice
Format: 78rpm shellac disc, 10 inch unless noted
Reference: #7881

Florence Bruce sings 'My God and Father' and 'Be Thou Nigh' on a Berliner Concert (BelCTEST) test pressing with no catalogue number. A test pressing on the early Berliner Concert label — predecessor to the Gramophone Company in Britain — with no catalogue number is a genuinely unusual survival, and potentially dates from the very earliest years of disc recording in Britain.

The summary above was written by AI from what is known of the artist and the pressing. It is not a description of this copy's condition, and we have not checked every detail — ask us and we will tell you what we can actually see.
