Harry Fragson, the Franco-British music-hall and cabaret star who was shot dead by his father in 1913 at the height of his fame, performs 'Other Department Please' on HMV 02380, a single-sided 12-inch pressing. Fragson is a significant and collected music-hall name, and his death gave his recordings an additional historical poignancy; 12-inch single-sided HMV pressings of his work are uncommon.
