Jo Stafford, a major American pop singer of the 1940s-1950s, recorded these two songs for Columbia's DB series. 'September in the Rain' is a jazz standard; 'Chow, Willy' is a playful novelty. Stafford was one of the most popular recording artists of the post-war era.
