Joe Venuti was an American jazz violinist and pioneer of jazz string playing in the 1920s. His Blue Four featured some of the finest jazz musicians of the era. This Parlophone recording of 'Wolf Wobble' and 'Georgia on My Mind' (credited to Mackenzie) captures hot-jazz violin and ensemble work from the late 1920s.
