J W Rickaby, the British music-hall comic singer, performs 'First I Went and Won the DCM' and 'I'm Always Thinking of Her' on Winner 3498. Winner was the Woolworths budget label; Rickaby is a recognised if minor music-hall name and Winner pressings, while common, are inexpensive period items.
