A Zonophone disc (2186) pairing two voices — Leon Lafitte and Baer — in a duet from Gounod's 'Faust'. The catalogue number 2186 is a low single-face Zonophone number suggesting an early pressing, likely 1902–1905. Leon Lafitte was a French tenor who recorded for several early labels; 'Baer' may refer to a baritone. Early Zonophone duets from this period are uncommon and worth closer investigation.
