Lillian Nordica was an American dramatic soprano of the late nineteenth century, one of the most celebrated Wagner singers of her era at the Metropolitan Opera. Columbia 74026 — 'Annie Laurie' — is an early acoustic cylinder-era pressing, and early Nordica records are among the most historically significant in the pre-electrical catalogue.
