- AItalian National Anthem
Marcel Journet was a distinguished French bass who sang at the Paris Opéra and the Metropolitan Opera. This HMV pressing (7-52093) of the Italian National Anthem is an unusual side — a bass singing a patriotic piece rather than an operatic aria — but Journet's name gives it collecting appeal. The 7-52xxx catalogue range suggests an early acoustic pressing.AI summary
