Mezz Mezzrow, the American jazz clarinetist and saxophonist, recorded 'The Panic is On' and 'Mutiny in the Parlour' for Regal (MR2440). Mezzrow was an important figure in hot jazz and blues from the 1920s onwards, and a fierce advocate for jazz authenticity.
