Muriel George was a popular English contralto and actress best known for her character roles; Gwennie Mars appears on the reverse in a different number. This Odeon pressing, catalogue 66616, couples George's 'Echoes' with Mars's 'Ypsilanti'. Odeon issued a wide range of British performers and pressings at this catalogue level are moderately common.
