The New Orleans Rhythm Kings, pioneers of early white jazz from New Orleans, recorded 'Clarinet Marmalade' and 'Maple Leaf Rag' for Brunswick in the mid-1920s. Both are foundational jazz pieces; the NORK were hugely influential in spreading New Orleans style to Northern cities and recording audiences.
