John Barbirolli conducts an orchestra in Delius's 'Summer Night on the River' in two parts on NGS 72. This is a significant item: Barbirolli was at the beginning of his conducting career, and a National Gramophonic Society pressing of Delius conducted by Barbirolli is an important document in both their discographies — the NGS issued music unavailable on commercial labels.
The summary above was written by AI from what is known of the artist and the pressing. It is not a description of this copy's condition, and we have not checked every detail — ask us and we will tell you what we can actually see.
Condition is not recorded for this one — ask and we will describe the disc honestly before either side commits. Nothing in this collection has a fixed price; an enquiry starts a conversation.
