Gustav Holst conducts an orchestra in his own 'Country Song' and part three of the St Paul's Suite on Columbia L1649, a 12-inch pressing. Holst conducting his own music for Columbia is a historically important document; the St Paul's Suite and the composer's own interpretation are of great interest to collectors of English music and historic orchestral recordings.
