Arthur Honegger conducting a recording of his own 'Pastorale d'Été' on Parlophone E11296. A composer conducting their own work is always of documentary and collector interest; Honegger's 'Pastorale d'Été' of 1920 is a recognised piece of French inter-war chamber orchestral writing. Parlophone E-series pressings are standard British releases of the 1920s–30s.
