Oscar Strauss — the Austrian operetta composer best known for 'The Chocolate Soldier' — conducting 'My Hero' and a Thalala polka on Decca K2306. A composer-conductor recording of his own operetta music is a specialist collector interest; the K-series Decca is a standard interwar pressing.
