Phyllis Dare — one of the most popular Edwardian musical-comedy actresses, celebrated for her roles at the Gaiety Theatre — on HMV C633, a 12-inch pressing coupling 'Something in the Atmosphere' (with P Rubens) and 'Violin Song.' The HMV C-series 12-inch format is unusual for popular musical-comedy material and Dare is a significant and collected name.
