The RAF Orchestra under conductor Hollingsworth performing the Nicolai overture from 'The Merry Wives of Windsor', recorded for His Master's Voice in what appears to be an advance or test pressing (marked 'advance', not a standard catalogue number). RAF concert bands made occasional commercial recordings in the interwar period.
