The Royal Albert Hall Orchestra conducted by Elgar himself, performing a Handel Overture in D Minor and a Bach Fantasia in C Minor on HMV D838. As with all Elgar self-conducted HMV recordings, this is a primary document of the composer's own conducting style and is consistently among the most collected British orchestral 78s.
