Rosita Serrano, the Chilean-German singer who became famous in 1930s-40s Europe, recorded two Latin American standards—'Babalu' and 'Cielito Lindo'—for His Master's Voice. Serrano was an international recording artist and her HMV sides document her popularity in the British market.
