Selma Kurz and Heinrich Schlusnus perform the duet 'Bei Männern welche Liebe fühlen' from The Magic Flute, with Frieda Hempel singing 'Batti, batti' from Don Giovanni on the reverse, on Polyphon 85301. All three singers are significant early operatic recording artists; Kurz was a celebrated Viennese coloratura, Schlusnus a leading German baritone, and Hempel a distinguished lyric soprano. A Polyphon pressing coupling three important voices is an attractive specialist item.
