Selma Kurz, the celebrated Austrian coloratura soprano who was a prima donna at the Vienna Court Opera, performing 'Lockruf' with Ignacy Jan Paderewski at the piano, on HMV catalogue 043181. A Kurz recording accompanied by Paderewski — one of the most celebrated pianists of the age — is a primary document of Edwardian musical life and of exceptional collector interest.
