Tom Shields on Best 381 — 'Your King and Country Need You' backed with 'Your King and Country Want You' (G Barrington). Both sides carry patriotic First World War recruiting songs; Best is a label untraced in standard references, and having two versions of what is essentially the same wartime recruiting appeal on a minor label is unusual. Wartime pressings on obscure labels are an uncommon collecting area.
The summary above was written by AI from what is known of the artist and the pressing. It is not a description of this copy's condition, and we have not checked every detail — ask us and we will tell you what we can actually see.
Condition is not recorded for this one — ask and we will describe the disc honestly before either side commits. Nothing in this collection has a fixed price; an enquiry starts a conversation.
