William Herold performing two Danish songs — a Knud Lavard ballad and a Lange-Müller serenade — on HMV catalogue M47, from the Scandinavian M-series. Herold was a celebrated Danish tenor of the early recording era; his HMV M-series recordings are uncommon in British collections and of interest to collectors of Scandinavian vocal discs.
