This Winner pressing is a memorial or tribute record featuring Alice Lloyd, Rosie Lloyd, Marie Lloyd Jr and Daisy Wood — members of Marie Lloyd's family and circle — likely issued around the time of Marie Lloyd's death in 1922 or shortly after. Winner was a budget label of the early 1920s. A tribute disc featuring this cluster of names in a family memorial context is an unusual historical document of the music-hall world.AI summary
