Noah Beery was an American film actor — the brother of Wallace Beery — who had a substantial silent and early sound career in Hollywood. His appearance on a Brunswick disc, catalogue 01154, performing 'The Whip' and 'One Little Drink' is an unusual crossover between film celebrity and the recording studio. Brunswick pressed this for the British market; celebrity novelty recordings of this type are a distinct collecting category.AI summary
