Szymon Goldberg and Paul Hindemith on Columbia LX291 — a Mozart Duo in B flat major, in two parts. Goldberg was a distinguished Polish-born violinist, and Hindemith was of course one of the major composers and viola players of the twentieth century; this coupling records Hindemith as a performer rather than just a composer. Columbia LX is the prestigious large-format electrical series, and a duo recording between these two significant musicians is of real collector interest.AI summary
