Billy Merson

AThe Bandits
BThe Gay Cavalier

Label: Famous
Catalogue number: 97
Genre: Music Hall
Format: 78rpm shellac disc, 10 inch unless noted
Reference: #4884

Billy Merson on Famous 97 — 'The Bandits' and 'The Gay Cavalier' — is another coupling on an obscure British label. Famous is an untraced or very rare marque, and as with the Mara pressing elsewhere in this collection, Merson on an unknown small label is considerably more interesting than his standard issues.
